It's nothing to do with your mic, trust me. It's just your controller. I thought my Tritton's were broken, but when I returned them for a new pair, the same thing happened. So then I changed controllers, and the problem was gone!

try unplugging your mic, turning off your controller, plugging your mic back in, then turning your controller back on

It's the inside that broken. All you have to do in rewire the cables, and ask the company who you bought if from to send you the part

buy a high quality one like turtle beaches or astros. i went throgh like 5 xbox mics they suck
