I have tested my connection but that fails and when I get disconnected of xbox live I go dashboard and signs me back into xbox live

It isnt just mw2 what has problems when i start up guitar hero 6 it signs me out for no reason im on sky

The servers got hacked last night so many posts on this and if your with sky broadband it'll sign you out opf any game

This happened to me a lot a few months ago.

All I did was go to network settings on your xbox, then go to your network that you are connected to, find "configure network", and the scroll over until you see "Restore to factory defaults". Then reconnect to your network, and test your connection. You should be good to go.

Hope this helps, it did for me.

Try unplugging you router and plugging it back in. You connection might be weird. Make shrue you haven't gotten banned from mw2.
