In the past couple weeks, I've seen members confused about their posts being classified as "advertising". Say if you made a post about how to get free MP3 songs and you said Beemp3.com. That's NOT advertising. Why? Advertising is when you want people to join your/other people sites. It's annoying and AGAINST the rules. Everyone has worked too hard on this site for other people to be showing off their site.

EXAMPLE OF ADVERTISING:

HEY GUYSSSSS JOIN THETECHGAME.COM !!!!!

WEEE NEEEED STAFF!!!!

Of course "thetechgame.com" would be whatever their URL is.

EXAMPLE OF NOT ADVERTISING:

I found a cool site where you can get free mp3 songs : beemp3.com

I hope this can clear up some confusion. Again, if you have any questions, you can always send a PM to any staff member.

I have been trying to make this point for a while.

When some members even see another website link all hell breaks loose.

I apologize for the slight bump.

But this was very helpful for me.

And I think it will be for others.

I would like other members to see this and get a feel for it.

Thanks for the post Panda.

Yes I know the date. March 13.

But this is a very simple, but helpful post.

Very Helpful.
