This TuT is very easy and simple and only takes very little of your time.
Please comment when you are done and hopefully this can get a sticky

This will improve your ps3 internet connection up to 100%
No More Lag
No More Red Bars

Step 1: First we need to download a program called Namebench. What it does
is it searches the fastest and nearest DNS server you can use to speed up internet
Connection on PS3 and PC

Now once it is done loading you will get a screen like this

Where it says Primary Server and Secondary Server on the top right, That is your fastest nearest DNS servers. Note them down.

Step 3: Now boot up your ps3
Go To Network Settings
Then go to Internet Connection Settings
Select Custom
Select Wireless if you use wireless, Wired if you are wired
If you are wireless choose the Wireless internet connection you use

Step 4: Now when your reach Ip address settings
Select Manual
Enter your Ip Address, Subnet Mask, and Defualt Router(Defualt Gateway)
(Can be found in CMD and while you are in the CMD type ipconfig and press enter)

Step 5:
Now enter the Servers you note down and place them in the primary DNS server
and Secondary Server.

Step 6: Now save settings and test connection
*NOTE* you might get an error. That is completely normal. Exit out

Step 7: Now Restart your ps3 and your ps3 connection will be 100%
No More lag and no more red bars
