We would like to see what your strategy has been for making your way around the asylum. Try to add as much detail as you can to assist other players. Along with the Weapons Location thread this will help other players make it further into the game and make it more enjoyable. Below is what I have done, not the best game, but I enjoyed myself………..which is really the point isn't it?

Groovy,
Casca

Starting point is in the "Juggernaught" cola room.
1 Man game

Level 1
Stay in the same area and allow all of the zombies to enter. Shoot each one of them 6 times (That is the most that you can shoot them without killing them in the first round) and knife them. Doing this will get you the max amount of points possible. Board up a window as fast as possible so that you can get all of the boarding points before the next round. Keep the .45 and do not get a rifle. You should have around 14 shots left. Usual points is around 1690.

Level 2
Stay in the same area. Try to kill a few outside of the windows. Put a few rounds into them and them knife them. Be careful as to not get hit when they reach inside. When a few get in take them down one at a time. Shoot a few times then knife, if possible. If you run into trouble get a rifle, but try not too. On level 2 zombies can be taken down with 2 rifle shots. If you use a rifle try to hit the body then the head for max points. Usually in this round you will get one of the following Bonus Drops: Instant Kill, Max Ammo or DA BOMB. Hopefully you get the max ammo. After you have killed the last zombie start boarding up the windows as fast as you can before the round ends. As soon as you stop getting points for the windows stop. Start boarding up windows as soon as the III starts to flash to get the points.

Level 3
Stay in the same area for a little while. Try to kill as many outside of the windows as possible, use your grenades when you can. As soon as it looks like they are going to start to pile in go upstairs. You should have around 3000 points or more by now. As soon as you head up the steps hang a left and buy the MP40 that is on the left hand wall about 10 ft down. Move in the open area to kill the zombies. I usually head down the outside balcony to the stairs that they will come up. You can kill many of them before they break down the barrier. Watch down the balcony and the inside hallway. If you want leave one alive and board up the wall and windows for extra points.

Level 4+
Make your way to the "Power Room" paying the "tolls" as you go. Turn on the power and kill the zombies at your leisure. I usually stick with the MP40 occasionally going back to reload. You can either go to the mystery box in the power room or safe your points for the perks. When you are at 2500 go down to the "Juggernaught Cola" machine and get the perk. Make your way back up to the top floor. You can get the Double Tap perk if you want. I stayed around the Power room for a few rounds then went out the back door toward the "Fast Reload" machine. I found this to be the best perk with the Juggernaught in a close second. After getting the MG42 from the Mystery Box I settled into the room just behind the "Fast Reload" machine. Stay to the right of the room and they will all come in that door. Up until level 13 I did not have any zombies come through the window in that room.

I died at 13

Well that was my best game, I know its not anywhere close to being the highest, but you get the picture.

What's yours?

Well heres my strategy shoot the zombies until you run out of ammo try to conserve then whats you lose your bullets buy a mi garand or gewhr after that let a zombie come in through the window and shoot it directly in the chest. After u should get a perk like nuke or max ammo whats u do that keep killing until level6 then open the doors until you get to the electric fence with one window to cover ( works best with 4 people ) after that keep buying mystery box have one player have quick revive and juggernaut depends on wepons i got level 23 i could have gone higher i had to go to bed.... ada)

My strategy just got us to round 18 (one zombie away from 19) a few hours ago.

You start out in the main rooms, as usual. If you're on the left side, pick up the Kar98k and start getting headshots. Almost every kill should be a headshot. You need to get into the power room as soon as possible. In Round I you should have at least 1000 points. Open up the staircase and fire at the incoming zombies from above (easier headshots) with the Kar98k until you or someone else has enough money to open the rest of the doors.

Once you get the 2nd door open, it's VERY important to buy the Trench Gun RIGHT NOW just incase your random box chances fail, you aren't stuck with the Kar98k and molotovs (believe me, it's happened a lot). Get distance kills with the Kar98k (most being headshots if possible) and close kills with the Trench Gun until you can afford the power room.

Once you can afford the power room, open it and turn on the electricity. Everyone needs to rush up and get good weapons as soon as possible.

It should be around Round 3 or 5 by this point.

Once your team is situated with their good weapons, open up the back door in the Power Room (important for later), and, staying near each other by the power room, kill zombies as they come in. Get as many headshots as you can, you need to get the perk-a-cola machine perks as soon as you can so you aren't rushing down at Round 12 or later because you didn't get them earlier, at Round 5-9. At round 8, everyone should move near the power room so if anyone is down, they are within reach.

Continuing with that, it should be around Round 9 and you should have at least Juggernaut by this point. The zombies are much tougher by now.

Now it's time to move into the back room we just opened up, called the Butcher room. From now on you will defend this spot during every round. No one goes out. No one goes out to save a stupid ally who ran out to the random box when zombies were still coming.

In the Butcher room, there is one cave in the back and one small doorway leading into the power room to defend. Zombies will be hording through the power room door, so you can just mow them down with your MGs and ray guns as they come through and none of them can catch you off guard as long as the cave is protected.

Someone can look over when they hear something or you can have someone guarding it full time (not recommended so you have full firepower to the main group), as long as no one breaks through the cave. If one zombie breaks through and gets inside, the concentration is from the mass of zombies onto that one zombie and many more will get in, so be careful.

DO NOT OPEN THE BACK DOOR IN THE BUTCHER ROOM. DO NOT OPEN IT TO GET TO THE SPEED COLA, EVEN IF THE OTHER DOOR BEHIND THAT ONE IS CLOSED. YOU WILL RUIN YOUR CHANCES.

Get your perks as soon as you can if you haven't already (every single one -- double tap is nice for when you're being surrounded and need to kill them quickly). If it's past level 10, don't just rush down and get the perk at the end of the round. Use the technique famously known as Kiting.

When you hear only a few screams left from the few zombies left (1 or two in a group, slowly coming), have one latch onto you or a teammate and kill the rest so that one zombie is left. Switch off who the zombie is chasing and just go around boarding up windows, getting weapons, getting perks, finding the box if you got a teddy bear. EVERY TIME you want to leave the Butcher room you must kite.

Once the round is over it'll be about 5 seconds until the next, not nearly enough time.

Defend the Butcher room in this order, having all the perks and a few Ray Guns and Machine Guns (MG42 or Browning) for the rest of the levels and you will live a fairly long amount of time.

Also, a friendly tip: trash the flamethrower at around level 10 or 11. At that point it'll only slightly damage the zombies because they're fast enough so they will get in the Butcher room way before the flame has time to kill them, and it'll just be a nuisance to your allies. Also I can not emphasize HOW IMPORTANT it is to get all your perks early on. You will NEED them.

Headshots are nice but the knife is where its at early on. In the first round you can score 180 per zombie with 5 pistol shots to the chest and then a knife(they actually die first knife round one though). second round they take one shot to the chest with the gewehr or two with the m1. then the knife. round three goes to 2 gewehr shots and 3-4 m1 shots. this gives a nice amount of points combined with getting max points for rebuilding windows every round.

We have found two nice mutiplayer non glitch strategyies that give you the fewest point to cover. Two two eventual holdout spots are the room next to the electric barrier at the end of the doubletap corridor and the room behind the sleight of hand perk.

To defend the first spot we have the team on the right side of the map turn on the power, while the left team tries to get max points then open the staircase. Ideally you leave the last guy alive so that the left team can get a few shots at the box since they will have a good amount of points. The mp40 and juggernaut is my choice though. You can turn the power on end of round 4 using the knifing strategy I spoke of up top. Once everyone has their goods put 1-3 guys in that room at the end of the rootbeer corridor and 1 guy on the window outside by the electric switch. All the zombies except that window will file down the hallway at the other three where you can shred them apart.
We use a strategy I guess called stacking here and in the other strategy I will discuss. By stacking we put a guy kneeling then one DIRECTLY behind him standing. Being right in a line causes the zombies to make more of a direct line at you. You can add a third guy laying down. or kneeling next to the other guy. With three people when the guy upfront runs out to retrieve power ups the back two should step out a bit left and right to shoot around and give nice corridor to run back down.
The other spot we defend lets all 4 guns focus on the same line of guys and doesnt involve much rebuilding either. The left team builds the funds to turn the power on, then the right team goes to the power room and opens both the doors from the power to the sleight of hand achievment. Get the whole team in the room behind the sleight of hand achievement. Line up so that the right doorway to that room lines up with the butcher room. If you leave that door to the left of your position shut the zombies will not come in the window directly behind you letting you focus all attention on the swarm coming at you. It is important that you do not leave the room or the zombies will run at you instead of the line. But one or two guys may step to the left and shoot through the windows across the courtyard. this is also nice to see what the flow looks like to make a crawler for rearmorment.

Sorry for crazy long post.
