How do you change the privacy settings on your xbox account? :/

I can't here anyone online, it's retarted, and i like it when people shout at me it's funny

when i do my gamerpicture etc, under my name it comes up Privacy settings.

Any help please?

Profile>Edit Profile>Privacy Settings, you can set it to only friends, or everyone...if you have a child account this may not let you do this. If anything ask your parents what the e-mail and pw they used so you can change your account to regular instead of child then you can change it. +REP if it helped.

Could it be your Mic? I cant hear people with my mic, but i can speak Through it and they can hear me, but its best to follow Brians advice after you ruled out broken hardware

i figured out what to do to it,
my brother had set some Family Settings on my account but he didn't realise that he put the Privacy Settings enabled

thanks for the help anyway

Xbox button > Scrool to the right tab that says SETTINGS > Account/ privacy settings
