A twitter conversation between community member conradsleight and DICE's senior video director Roland Smedberg revealed an interesting fact: Battlefield 3 TV advertisements. Smedberg stated that, "these TV-ads wont edit themselves." Being asked whether or not the ads will be coming out later in the year, he stated that the ads will be coming out this month (April.) The ads won't contain anything to new to the Battlefield 3 audience and contains footage from the three Fault Line episodes. However, the ads will be on TV to build a bigger Battlefield 3 audience. Smedberg stated the ads will run full throttle and that the advertising budget for the game was massive because it is DICE's largest title to date.
