Yes, you would have to re-solder the wires.
I am guessing around 30 dollars to be repaired(If repairable)

I am just warning you now though, this jtag may have more than just that problem. I have not been able to even get to dashboard to see anything.

These are the only specs i have on it:
Has a bad dvd key
is on 9199 dashboard
currently has E-79

sorry im good without it cuz idn the other errors it could have... uhmm what about the controller? is it rapid fire or is it just shiny?

yea, thats fine its basically for parts becuase of its condition.

Also,the controller is chrome with light up buttons.

I am assuming you are reffering to the rf board?

and if so, all you have to do is take outer case off and unplug it.
It is similar to a usb.
