im trying to get gold membership on my new account ie just made, i have put all my card details on the account and the second i go to confirm a years gold membership its says '' Cant retrieve information from xbox live please try again later'', any help please ???

make sure all the details you enterd are correct.
if they are then do what it says try again later usualy an hour or so
the problem could be with XBL or with you'r bank/CC card provider.
i have had a problem when trying to buy something online, i just waited then it worked

Have you tried adding it from via the internet? +rep if helps please
