I have had my iPod set as NTFS for awhile, as I never used it. I've had it since 2006, so it is a 4GB Nano. When trying to format using the 360, it says something along the lines of,"Problem performing that action" and it stops.

Anyone know what problem this could be?

Also, shouldn't this work in theory:

A digital camera uses an SD card. When you take pictures, they are stored on the SD card. Connect the camera to a PC via USB, it REALLY shows the data on the SD card. If I find a digital camera with the USB and SD card, shouldn't I be able to use it with the new update? In theory, of course. Haven't tested it.

True, but it acts just like it after changing the file system to NTFS rather than FAT32.

That should work. You just have to find a good program to format your ipod to 360 format.

I will try to search for some programs of the sort. Also, I have a question. Will a 2GB USB drive be enough to transfer files from MW2 single player to mod?

That was why I started using it as a USB drive awhile back.

Make sure that whatever you're trying to use with the 360 is formatted in FAT32. If it's not, it probably won't work. (This is according to the FAQs about the recent update)

With your iPod, make sure that you check the option in iTunes to enable disk use. This would allow you to drag and drop files and use the iPod's HDD as general storage, and I'm sure that you won't get your iPod working as USB storage for your 360 without checking that option. If you don't check it, the iPod's hard drive won't show up as USB storage when you plug it into your 360 or computer.

And if you've tried both of those things and it's still not working, then maybe it just won't. I haven't tried this with my iPod.
