Hermolicious wrote Make sure that whatever you're trying to use with the 360 is formatted in FAT32. If it's not, it probably won't work. (This is according to the FAQs about the recent update)
With your iPod, make sure that you check the option in iTunes to enable disk use. This would allow you to drag and drop files and use the iPod's HDD as general storage, and I'm sure that you won't get your iPod working as USB storage for your 360 without checking that option. If you don't check it, the iPod's hard drive won't show up as USB storage when you plug it into your 360 or computer.
And if you've tried both of those things and it's still not working, then maybe it just won't. I haven't tried this with my iPod.
It shows up, it just won't format it. Yes, I formatted it back to FAT32 and enable disc use. I guess I'll just have to find a USB drive for like $20.

Every time I go to get an external HDD, I always end up getting something else. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
