YOu need to have a VGA plug in in your tv and plug the VGA into the computer and the other end into the tv and switch to the pc input.

Also you can do the same thing with a hdmi cord if your computer and tv have that.

you need a vGA cable which has blue endings like this:

connect an hdmi cable your computer and your tv and bam there you go
