E79: Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it - if you console is jtagged this is probably the jtag wire installation fault.(IF JTAG CAN BE SOFTWARE)

Well if it has e79 you have to repair it (reball or reflow)
But if your turning it into a normal console then I'm not sure how to do that? :trollin:

After it is a J-tag it is one you can't change it sell it in the marketplace and buy a retail if you want one that bad but don't waste a perfectly good modded Xbox.

if you tried to take out the wires then you would probably just get a useless xbox. i dont think it would work

simply update it with normal microsoft update then remove the jtag boot wires
will not brick it as long as you havent removed the Resistor to prevent updates.
