Hey guys, I'm getting a new laptop for college and want your opinion on my configuration. The computer I'm thinking of getting is the:

Sony Vaio: EC (17.3 in.)
Intel Core i7 2.80 GHz (Turbo Mode: 3.64 GHz)
8 GB Ram
1 TB Hard-drive (7200rpm)
1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon
Blue-ray Player

Thoughts?

What kind of GPU is it?

Eg: 4000 series, 5000 series.

Go with the sony vaio F one, large battery, better gpu , smaller screen & it's cheaper.
