It only really died when the new method of GPD modding came out everyone could just fly around and **** and everyone hated it ( exept the modders ofcourse ;)

I also could not agree more i played that game like the first day it came out and i was like

there are alot of things that ruined waw one of them being modded controllers
which i think killed a bit of every game
like nowadays you cant find a game of search wwithout atleast 2 people using modded controllers

I personally think Modded controllers ruined Waw along with the release of MW2 also.

The players of call of duty usually prefer infinity ward games the trey-arch anyway.

i wish i could say you were wrong but yor not people only play waw to mod now
and infinity ward produce the best games one thing is for sure though waw will go down in the history books no doubt it was a great call of duty but its dead now.
