Would this also mean if we did it with our HDD using a transfer cable? I assume it doesn't make it appear in the download history.

Yes. Best thing to do is remove it from your console. That probably still wont work anyway

LOL so there going to ban over 30k+ People from there beta, gears of war 3, and xbox live? Hmm i think Gears of war would get **** over and loose alot of sales if this was too happen.

I Agree with RossUK. They would be stupid to actually try and ban people over a beta that lasts about 3 weeks and ban them from the full game also. Do they really want to lose money in sales???

I believe the only way they would be able to see if you modded it or not is if they see your gamertag in the game. Then they would have to further investigate to see if its in your download history. So if you don't play it, I don't see how they could get your gamertag to check it.

If you want to be 99% safe, remove it from your HDD/usb.
