go to Tools, and select Clear Private Data.
Tools > Options Go to Tools and select Options... (on Linux, go to Edit then Preferences).
Privacy > Settings Go to the Privacy tab and click the Settings button.
Clear private data Make sure Cache is checked on the list of options to clear.
Return to the Options menu and click the Clear Now button.

It would only be temporary, but if it was to happen again you could just do that again and it'd stop it for a while.
