If his jtag worked fine before then it is a update problem. What dash board are you on right now and what is installed for a dash board, freestyle or normal.

why dont you just bridge the connection from points 4 and 7 on j2d2 its more reliable then three wire

Looks like your missing a wire by the heat sync. I cant really see but it looks like something is missing.

All it is, is the three wire jtag and there is nothing wrong with doing it the way it is already done, Don't mess with the wiring if it worked fine before. There is so many ways to do this hack on xexon's, yes everything everyone is saying is true, but the way this is done is fine too, so leave well enough alone, if it worked fine before, leave it alone.

Go to a real good irc chat lobby, EFnet, they know alot more then anyone here in this site, this guys know what they are talking about,

He is using the three resistor way and there is no need for bridging that point or adding a resistor instead of bridging it with a wire, you only do that if he is using two wires. I only been into this for a little while and I even know that.....

your wrong... he has done the 330 ohm resistor wiring method and it has been done properly putting a bridge in those points would onyl cause more errors

Yes it's fine. You just need to install your flasher to extract the nand ;)

Good luck

Trust us, leave the wiring alone. Dont listen to the people telling you to change it, its fine the way it is.
