hey, you will most probably get it soon. your best bet is if you get it again so the x-clamp fix and sell it. you can buy x-clamp kits for a few quid on ebay.

Red rings is all about the chip thing inside, overheating, then coming loose. You should probably by a cheap xbox fan from game/gamestop, and if it happens again, send it off to Microsoft I guess.

go on on xbox.com and look at the steps. If u have the E74 error like i did than ur screwed my friend.

Yeah, your JTAG is definitely going to overheat again. Your losing connection from the GPU to the motherboard. Meaning the solder is becoming brittle not allowing a passage for the power.

Your JTAG will most likely get 0102 error code after next RROD.

do the towel trick , ull need to do it like once a day tho

do not to the towil thing in will make things worse just un plug the harddrive for 10-15 mins un pluge the power cord for 10-15mins then in should be fine man

you need to buy and install a fan so it cools the xbox and it wont overheat which = no red rings until then just either dont use it or only use it for short periods of time
