i am making a jtag xbox bu havent got all the stuff to dump the nand. what happens if i put the jtag wires in and dont dump the nand? its a xenon and my dashboard is 5759 if that makes a difference.

it should still work anyways. Just dont go online, they may ban you but im not 100% sure

If you soldered on just the jtag wires and started the console up it would run just like a retail xbox. You could go online and would not get banned, as no signal is transmitted through those wires when using a retail smc (system management controller).

What error are you getting?, try uninstalling the nand-x drivers (you can do so by going into device manager and uninstalling from there) and then reinstall them. If you are getting "can't detect flash controller" error, it is more than likely a soldering error.
