Tottenham welcome back Peter Crouch, who was suspended for the defeat to Real Madrid, while Steven Pienaar hopes to return from a groin problem.

Arsenal's Bacary Sagna has recovered from a knee problem, and is expected to replace Emmanuel Eboue at right-back.

Denilson, Tomas Rosicky and Manuel Almunia have also been passed fit.

MATCH PREVIEW

Tottenham and Arsenal may have been no match for Champions League conquerors Real Madrid and Barcelona, but there is still plenty at stake in North London's answer to 'El Clasico'.

The hope is always there but, to keep the hope alive, it is up to us to win our games and to win our next game

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger

If Spurs can record their third successive league win against their rivals it will be a huge boost to their hopes of snatching a top-four spot. Anything other than an away victory will finally kill off the Gunners' slim hopes of ending their trophy drought.

It was a similar story when the sides met at White Hart Lane in mid-April last season; on that occasion Tottenham were smarting from an FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth, but they made amends by claiming a first league win against Arsenal since 1999, condemning the Gunners to another season without silverware.

Liverpool's equaliser on Sunday, which Dirk Kuyt scored in the 12th minute of added time, means Arsenal are also likely to end the current campaign empty handed.

Arsene Wenger's side have been on the wrong end of some incredible comebacks this season; they somehow frittered away a four-goal lead to draw at Newcastle, and lost 3-2 to Spurs at the Emirates despite having led 2-0 at the break. It may require an even more extraordinary turnaround if the Gunners are to overhaul Manchester United in title race.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Arsenal have lost their last two league games against Tottenham, having been unbeaten in the previous 20. However, they did win 4-1 at Spurs in a League Cup third-round tie in September.

Seven of the last 10 league meetings at White Hart Lane have ended in draws.

Tottenham

Rafael van der Vaart scored seven goals in his first six home appearances for Spurs. However, he has scored only once at White Hart Lane since 9 November, converting a penalty against Bolton in February.

Tottenham have lost just one of their last 26 league matches at White Hart Lane (against Wigan in August).

Harry Redknapp's team have lost just one of their last 10 league games (W4, D5, L1).

Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has scored 99 Premier league goals.

Arsenal

The Gunners are unbeaten in six away league games in 2011, winning three of those.

They have conceded seven goals in their last three away league games.

Arsenal are on a 15-match unbeaten run in the league, although this includes seven draws. They are the only Premier League team who are unbeaten in 2011.

Robin van Persie has scored 18 goals in 19 games for club and country in 2011, including 16 goals in 17 matches for Arsenal.

My Analysis

As A Gooner i reguarly attend matches i think arsenal will have the upper hand in this match Due To us trying to takeover man u we should of been done with liverpool but we failed
