Well i was just in a couple games of cod4 and in each game i was on the team of ppl from the uk or over there (sorry, no offense ) and i would be talking about the game and they would rant about how americans are fat and how americans are stupid or some junik like that. and this usually happens when i meet ppl from the uk or britian. but some games ill meet really cool british ppl that really have nothing against americans.now since ttg is mostely uk based, i thought ide bring the question here for some answers. now i know theres americans that will automatically hate on uk/brtitian ppl. so yeah. (oh and im not racist against any1 so dont get any ideas of posting mean comments ) p.s. i doont really know the whole geological deal of like the uk like if its like a country but is divided up in like provinces, so if some1 could gimme a quick history too, that would be nice thx my bad i screwed up and posted it in nazi zombies, really sorry bout that please forgive

Moved to the General Discussion Forum

mrgrowl,
You will always find people from other countries that will insult where you are from. It is the first thing they will notice and in XBL attitudes tend to fly all over the place. The easiest trait to pick up on is the difference between accents, mostly between players from the US and players from the UK (by that I mean England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland; not meaning to offend anyone by calling it the UK, just seemed easier to get my point across).
You can also tell, with a little practice, where some European players are from by the way their Engish is accented (each country has a specific accent). It also can be said for players from Australia, NZ and South Africa.

I would not worry about it a whole lot. XBOX Pre Game lobbies are not to be consdered anything else but where people can talk alot of smack with the safety net of having a Gamer Tag. Annonimity brings out cowards. Weak minded people tend to go for the easiest target (Country) if they think it will make them look and feel big in front of people.

We all run into it. That is the beauty of having the MUTE button.

I will leave this open to see what other opinions members have about it. Please do not let this turn into a Flame War about the past or which country is better. Remember the rules still apply and if you are involved chances are you will get a vacation from here.

Groovy
