Ok this is a computer my dad gave me that was a old work one. It worked good until one day it would not start. The back gets light up and then it will just stay black but i lighterblack? So what can i do to fix this?

had that prob. I had a worm. Witch shut down my comp, u have to reset from the begining

i think i had the same problem but it wasnt a virus dell said
Its a glitch in the OS


but your gnna have to format and reinstall

Obtain a Windows 7 disk.
Put it in your computer.
Boot from disk.
Follow on screen instructions and you will be a happy camper

umm when u start up computer try pushing f3 or f2 or something and try to take it to a earlyer state
