they would never nerf the sawed off shotgun. IMO, i love the sawed off shotgun. it takes alot more skill and here is why.

1.) Only 1 bullet in clip
2.) Takes a while to reload and get another bullet in
3.)The range is not good at all and the only way to be good with it is to bounce around get close enough and go for an easy one hit kill

they will not nerf it because if they did it would be almost imposible to get a kill

they need to nerf the retro, not the sawed off...too many kids just spray with the retro and down kids in 3-4 shots..

The Sawn Off is the only reason I dislike about the beta.

And to the person who said the DB actually takes skill, congratulations. You made me laugh.

If your definition of skill is not even aiming and blowing people away with a blindfire while camping around a corner then man, I guess it is skill.

Learn some skill and strategies kid.

Retro doesn't need nerfing, i use it. I use it cos, it's a close/medium range assault rifle and it's unbelievably powerful. It won't be nerfed because it's not long range and it's spread is ridiculous. The reason it's close range is to destroy anyone who gets close with a shotgun, which is why you should play it more tactically.


Sawn off is ridiculous as the gnasher is semi automatic, takes 4-5 shots at close range to down on AR. Sawn off not even AR'd can destroy at longer ranges than the gnasher.

Actually if you think about it kinda does take skill to use it because you have to be able to maneuver around the player to get close enough for the kill.

The sawed-off takes absolutely no skill to use. It's 1 shot and if your within 5 feet, you just explode.

On the other hand, if they nerf it, then it would be completely useless.

I agree with Fignissan on the whole Retro Lancer thing, i understand the recoil and spread on it is awful but if your within 15 feet, that thing never misses and kills you in 5 shots.

The Beta is tons of fun tho.

You don't have to maneuver to get close to someone, hide around a wall, jump out then shoot.

Or if your 1 on 1 with a kid, just wall bounce and shoot him.

No matter what any of you say, the Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun is GoW3 is gay.
