just a quick rant on fanboys

of course being / having a fanboy i have no problem with, but recently i have seen a massive incline in the obsession with fanboys, and getting fanboys.

and now people have figured that if the tell people they will be their fanboy, they will be gifted gold. and there are way to many of these threads now; and its getting fantastically annoying.

and i dont know if this is just me, or other people as well, but i have minimal respect for anyone with "_Fanboy" at the end of their name, i think it just makes you look a little immature.

just for example, a member posting multiple times in the forums, asking for a fanboy, and then posting a milestone that he actually got a fanboy, its pathetic in my opinion.

It's a way of getting known by riding off someone else's fame.
