Alright whit3 b0y, Reball is your only option to fix 0003 seeing as how 0003 is normally indicating a dead GPU.

Yes...if it is a dead gpu, you will have to have a replacement reballed on

What about some of these steps? 1) Scan the mainboard and make sure that there is nothing that might short something out, like metal chipping, components, that moved out of place while reflowing, etc. - Especially in the CPU area,2) Replace MOSFETs and regulators that are known to cause it if they were blown,3) Check if the standby voltages are existent, if they are not at a certain area replace the parts in the area which are likely to be defective,4) Reflow the CPU,5) X-Clamp replacement? If you get shot in the arm, and the doctor says you need stitches, are you going to ask him if a band-aid would work too?

I am just telling you what you need to do, not trying to doubt your technical understanding, but I am not the #1 repair person on the top 3 biggest modding communities because I am normally wrong.

0003 is either a Dead GPU or somehow related to the power with the GPU and it is going to need to be reballed, ohm'd out, and checked to see if it is even still a good BGA chip.

You are going to say:
Maybe your right, But why doesnt this website say ANYTHING about a dead GPU?

My reply is:
Ok, nevermind...forget it. I am not going to sit here and argue with you about it. I gave you the proper answer, you obviously choose to argue it and don't believe me so ok.
