1.The whole point of 1.61 is so you don't have to use the activate.iso so yes your correct. BUT, the reason you need it for your copy of MW2 is because it was patched with CoD4 stealth files which then made it a wave 3 game, which then made it a "hybrid disc", which then made it unplayable on 1.61 unless you have the activate.iso disc

2.MW2 isn't in the database yet because the ABGX team hasn't update ABGX360 yet so it currently cannot properly check a wave 4 game.

3. More than likely you will need to burn another copy of MW2 because I can guarantee there is alot of patching it will need to do to the file. I also highly recommend you don't play that copy of MW2(CoD6) you have while connected to LIVE since it has been tampered with.
