6/2(1+2)
6/2(3)
6/6
1

or

6/2(2+1)
6/2(3)
3(3)
9

The answer can be either 1 or 9 depending if you divided first or multiplied first.
I think it is 1 because in PEMDAS you work left to right and multiplication comes first.

If you have to use a calculator to figure this out, you are retarded, use your head.

The answer can be either 1 or 9.

If you use a calculator like a noob the answer is 9 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Or if you use the PEMDAS way
P - Parenthesis
E - Exponent
M - Multiply
D - Divide
A - Add
S - Subtract

So its

6/2(1+2)
6/2(3) - Parenthesis
6/6 - Multiply
1 - Divide

but if you look at what the google calculator does, it changes the properties of the problem because it puts a parenthesis for the 6/2
(6/2)*(1+2) That is not the original problem so its an invalid answer

6/2(1+2)=9

Parenthesis
Exponents
Multiply
Divide
Addition
Subtraction

1+2=3

Then you do

6/2*3/1=18/2

then simplify it to 9/1

which is really 9

SOOOO TEHH ANSWER IS 9
