okay, so i jtagged a falcon, dumped the nand, got 2 matching dumps, ect... you know. so now i did the aud_clamp and dvd tray wiring method, now when i write xell, in jtag tool, do i have to have that smc point selected in drivers/options? or do you just need to have the smc point selected for when you make a freeboot?

ok so i finally got xex menu to work and i ran a patch no longer then 5 minutes so i turn it off and get ready to system link i get black screen again:/ and it still black screens what do i do? please help

Been trying to fix my friends xenon jtag for a while now and still have had no luck.

He reported to me the error was a simple 3 rrod resulting from overuse. Only it won't work still.

I have resoldered the wires, reapplied thermal paste, did the penny trick, and it's still 3 rrod.

Any help?

the jtag wont load xex menu at all it just black screens ive done nothing at all it worked then it stopped working

Since it seems to be your xex menu, remove xex menu completely off the hard drive. Then re install using this tutorial.
