I did it, and first got a ray gun, then second I got a monkey bomb.
Then I died, and after got a wonderwaffe, you may think this was fake, I don't have a cap card, so yeah, no way to prove it..
Anyway, I was annoyed I didn't get the achievement =[

I tried this again, I got ray gun second time but all others was rubbish guns.
So i don't think it works.

This has got to be one of the most speculated subjects in the history of gaming. There have been over 20 Topics in the past 4 months on this same subject. With all of the talk not one single video has been made that shows a technique that works 100% of the time. If there is a way that works (If one even exists) I would like to see a video of 4 players all going to the box and pulling awesome weapons out for the entire game. Until then...........I am a skeptic. You also need to decide what a "Good" weapon is and what criteria you are using.

Very intresting, but the criteria is actually pretty big.

It counts the monkey bomb - Wunderwaffe and the M1 garand w/ launcher - magnum.

Guys try crouching at the end of the box after you opened it, I always get a good weapon!

allmost every time i get a good gun.
