So, I've pieced some info together and came to a conclusion, 1 of the ways to end COTD. In one of the trailers George Romero is telling a story about how he found some nazi documents, this means he survived the night of COTD, so maybe you must use the "Zombie-Human" Gun to turn him human and lead him to safety.

What your forgetting is that you "survive" every zombie map because tank, nick, rick, and tak keep going different places

Sounds like a good theory, but the documents he found was about the element 115 and stuff about the wonder weapons. Plus he was doing research in books and that, not at the COTD place, but it does sound like a good theory.
