Okay, I was in the middle of a game on MLB 2K10, and suddenly the screen on my TV went black. I went through troubleshooting steps on Xbox.com and nothing helped. My controller can turn the xbox on but the xbox won't recognize it as a device. Help?!??!?!

Plug your avc cables all the way in?

Are you getting sound?

Your wires may have been split or busted. Try using a friends wires. The yellow one is for video, so if your getting sound its the yellow one may not be plugged in all the way.

My old TV has major problems, when I spin the yellow video cable, it cuts in and out. I have to moev that until I can get it to land in jsut the right place. Try this as well.

Not getting any sound, the wires are not busted and I plugged it all the way in.

Yea just try and test out someone elses wires if you can, cause if your xbox is turning on but just going to a black screen that is probably an issue with the video output, did you accidently flip the switch to (HD) on your av cable if you are on (SD) and vice versa, cause that will make your screen turn black...

Does the TV you originally used your Xbox with have extra Inputs? If it does, just plug them in another set.
