what they are is that you can activate multiple devices such as xbox, ps3, wii, or even tivo. and you can watch netflix on it. you need an active account though and if you want to learn how to activate a device look it up on the internet.. hoped this helped plz rep... thanks

how are people making $ though?

you can have up to 6 devices per netflix acc. and you can sell those spots off to other people so they can watch and use netflix. So basically they give you a code and you activate it which puts them on your netflix which allows them to watch movies and shows. Thats what you are selling, a spot on one of the 6 devices on your netflix.! Hope this helped please rep?
