Let me explain some benefits that you may not have seen right away

Viking has just released a BETA for a new program, you can now completely customize your controller.

Notice how on the first pic they have 2 jitter mods, the X Y Y method makes your striker shoot INSANELY FAST, same with all single fire/burst weapons

Another reason I've chosen Viking is because of the 3.5 mm jack you can use to update the controller, The fact that it's reprogrammable, and the FIRST company to do it, is amazing, And with the new VikingHEX editor then it makes the experience even more fun. Granted that having to reflash your controller can be annoying but it takes 30 seconds, and If you don't feel like doing it then you can put the modes for the main games you play on the controller and change it when ever you want.

IF you get the Tyr's Hand take note that you can't use the hex editor to customize the controller, you'll only be able to use the presets, The presets themselves are really good, If you want to compare to *********'s controllers then just use the "Popular All-In-One" preset and I believe mode 8 is the digital adjustable mode.

Viking is every controller company in one, and they actually ask the small community we are what WE want in the preset's or in the hex editor and incorporate it in the best way they can.

EDIT- These controllers work on EVERY game and will work with every game released in the future, less then after a week of a game being released there will be a preset/gui settings released.

Yes I am a viking fanboy, but I also own one and these are opinions, so don't flame if your all for ghetto or silent or evil or anyone, just trying to help with a decission

ghettoblaster if i get a viking its gonna be thors hammer and im gonna have it modify the existing pnc port. that is the port on top that is used with charge and play correct?

1. Silent mods is simply a single 5 mode. Nothing more.

2. Viking is all the differnt controllers in one. Every controller mod ever released, the viking can duplicate and you can reflash the controller. If you think that someone elses mod is faster, you can either: A) use hte new GUI to increase the speeds yourself, or B) request on thier firums for something better. Thats all they do is keep making new glithces at customer request. If enough people ask for it, they can create a fully digital adjustable controller firmware. RIght now, the GUI already performs the same thing, but if you want it bad enough, Viking will still keep creating new firmwares for every game that comes out. You may think "theres only COD games", but there are many more games out there. Fighting games. Driving games. Etc Etc. The glitches are endless. Dont narrow your vision to a fad.

3. If you choose the PNC port install, you can no longer use the PNC port to play-n-charge. They have to cut the traces in order to patch in the USB connection for flashing the chip. So you trade off that ability. You will have to keep your bateteries fresh.

I have a thor's hammer,
You can choose out of either, a PnC port, which is the port on top that you charge with.
If you get that, then you will lose the function of charging and you'll have to use rechargeable batteries, or use fresh ones.

I have a 3.5 mm jack which is 10 bucks extra but, I still have my ability to keep my controller on the charger while I'm playing. And it adds a cooler feature because of the port that you use on the my bottom of the controller.

I think viking is the best choice out of any controller.
It may be a little pricey but look at ALL of the amazing features you can get out of it now, and in the future.

I have a black controller, black dpad, ps3 sticks, and a white ring.
The led's the put in the controller when you change them are SUPER bright. I can light up my entire room with just my player 1 and 3 on.

You'll be happy with it, I promise

Well, I chose black, just so I can have a blacked out controller and a white RoL. I suggest the ps3 sticks as well, they are so much comfier then the 360 sticks.

But the decision is up to you in the end, I believe there's 4 controller colors to choose from, the biohazard is nice and I dont see too many people with them. Also if you go into the forums look for a guy named fredrow, he has a green name, he has a custom controller shop on line and you will see some AMAZING controller paintjobs and modifications for sale.. I think his company name is East Seattle Electronics or something similar. He uses viking controllers and just adds paint to them, it's definately worth a look or two

i found the website and it is pretty cool. but there were only 2 shells for the hammer and they're both sold out. how do you order like an actual paint job though? i dont understand the site lol
