Well, all today... I have been getting disconnected from xbox live.

This happens about every 5 minutes.

It lets me reconnect back instantly.

I have reset my router 1 time and completely turned it off 1 time.

Does anybody have any solutions to fix this?

im guessing its your router still cause im on xbl right now and it works fine

Call your people. This happens to me about once a month. I phone telus and they do something.

I was getting hit offline earlier today.

I say appear offline Just in case.

First thing to check is youre wireless connection from the gateway or router Secured (wep, wpa, wpa 2)
second how many things are running on the network too many can cause this
third check n xbox.com for the list of ports for xbox live ( Nat Ports ) and make sure theyre open on the router
and that should resolve the issues

it happend to me i rang up BT and they sed that u had alot of packet goin to ur ip and they wil fix in in 1hr
