:facepalm: The "beam of light" Is just a greenish thing in the distance flashing... Its there without pulling leaver's or turning the wheel.

Youre wrong. Its actually a beam of light from a submarine that goes to the top of the lighthouse. It then shines down the middle of the spiral staircase all the way through the transparent floor at the bottom.
