Honestly, I think that Ascension's Nodes were a little better then CoTD.

Its way longer( Which makes it interesting) and had a cool reward.

In Ascension, everyone gets the reward! But in CoTD only 1 person gets the Reward

Plus, CoTD's Easter egg was a little easy once figured out.

But Hey, you never no if the wonderwaffle's the end to it

I completely agree. COTD Easter egg seems short to me but as you said, that may not be the end of it.

(Even though you do unlock the achievement afterwards)

no one has even done the easter egg on co-op yet the steps are different so the reward could be different

I would say cotd because you dont need 4 people and you get a better reward especially if you can keep it the whole game.

The update changed the picture of the pregame lobby Ascension picture and someone posted a huge article about some new theory.
