TTG_Gold_Jake wroteMisconduct wrotejkjk258 wroteMisconduct wrote Yeah, I agree with Dowler777. Do some research before even considering buying a JTAG. Even though there is a lot of help available, you won't get very far independently if you don't know much.
However, to the point, I would buy a Falcon or Jasper - I would not recommend buying a Xenon because they overheat very quickly and can easily get red rings. Falcon's have a very low red ring rate, and Jasper's are not really known to get red rings. They may be more expensive, but if you don't want it to pack up in a couple of months, a Falcon or Jasper is your best bet.
Hope I helped!

Thanks but how much do Falcons and Jaspers go for.
Well, a Falcon can go for anything around 150 - 200 - some cheaper some more expensive. A Jasper can go for anything 200 and over. Usually 250 +

I hope the currency you're working in is Pound Sterling, because they go for WAYYY more than that in USD
Haha, yes it is mate. Forgot that it gets rid of the pound sign. Edited my post. Yes, in USD, it would be much more.

for all u people saying falcon rrod is rare well ur a bit wrong falcons are better than xenons and zephyrs but rrod is not rare there are plenty of rrod falcons on ebay and most falcons are refurbed. if u want a console that rrod is rare then get a jasper. contrarly to popular belief it is possible for a jasper to get rrod it has a significantly lower chance than any other console though and thats why they are so expensive.
and a popular beliefe is that xenons overheat quicky this is 100% false, overheating is 2 red lights xenons only get thaT if there is little or no thermal paste so overheating is not the problems with xenons there chips just run hotter and the solder is more likely to crack because of the chips running hotter although it is very possibly to get a xenon that will last you years
