i have a question it may be out of line but you guys are talking about possibly modding gamertags
if i mod my gamertag can i revert it to the original without any funky controller buttons or colors?

Sure you can! Before you mod your gamertag, make a back up of your entire profile folder. Then, mod your gamertag and do whatever. If you ever want to un-mod your gamertag, just inject your backup/un-modded profile.

what do u mean make a copy??? jus like copy and paste the folder... idk im new to modding

Ok, when you want to mod your gamertag, you go under:

Partition 3/Content/Your Profile Folder.

If you have a lot of profiles on your console, you will see lots of folders. You have to open the folder and go under FFFF07D1. Under there, you will see a file. That is your profile. Wen you extract that to your desktop, you can then mod your GT (find tut above). When you mod your GT using EzGT it creates a separate folder with the modded profile on the inside. You then have to drag that folder into the Content folder under Partition 3.

YOUR ORIGINAL PROFILE IS NOT MODDED!

To play with a modded gamertag, you just glitch it!

Go under MW2 signed into your regular profile. Then hit multiplayer. DONT CLICK XBOX LIVE! Before doing so, sign out of your normal profile and into the modded one. An avatar window will pop up. Click any avatar. If an error msg pops up, it doesn't matter. Then, click xbox live. It will say it is not permitted and re-open the sign in to your normal profile. Then click xbox live and your normal profile will be glitched to the modded GT.

It's actually a really easy and quick process when you get the hang of it.

I acctually made a mistake above. SRY!

Your ORIGINAL profile is NEVER modded. A modded copy is made in the GT modding program. Then you just put the modded profile folder back onto your hard drive. Leave your original profile alone! Then see what I said above in my reply. You just glitch it!
