As the title states I have a question regarding video quality and youtube. I am interested in knowing what you guys think of the quality of my dazzle settings and render settings.

The link below is the quality test I'm refering to, please check it out:

OR

Alternatively, watch it in the leisure of our forum below

The video description is as follows:

Just a test to check recording and render settings on my Dazzle DVC 107 and in Sony Vegas. I think its alright, I'm not sure how much better it can get being only a dazzle.

The clip was recorded in Pinnacle Studio 14 and was rendered as 'Sony AVC' (Internet 1920x1080-30p) in Sony Vegas.

If anyone has a suggestion for better settings regarding quality:space ratio please leave a comment below or PM me. I will be more than happy to check out your videos in return.

My questions are:
-Do you own a Dazzle or a similar capture card? If so, what program do you use to record and what settings do you use in relation to the best quality: space ratio?
-Do you have experience in Sony Vegas? If so, what would you suggest as rendering settings? Keeping in mind quality/space ratio.
-Do you think the quality of the video I linked above is good enough to start recording gameplays/walkthroughs etc? Is it clear enough to provide enough insight into what is happening?

Thank you in advance.

Note: I do realise the quality test is only a cutscene. I meant to upload another 20-30 secs of actual gameplay to test what that was like but I must have accidently cut it before rende
ring :'(.

That is 100% better quality than my Dazzle I doubt you could get it much better, but I am getting an HDPVR next week.

Nawww... I'm so Jealous!!! I've seen video's recorded with a dazzle that in my opinion DO look better than what I have. I just figured I would ask and see what the community thinks. Any suggestions of better settings would be greatly appreciated

Yeah I think its pretty awesome quality for such a low price. It just takes a while to fiddle around with it and tweak settings for optimal performance, I'd still strongly reccomend it to anyone not wanting to buy a HD PVR though
