Last saturday i called microdoft support to get my account back from this guy who scammed my account. They said it could take up to 7 days. They said they would lock the acount and investigate it and give it back. If anyone else has done this how long does this usually take? Also, how do you know when they are finished? do they email you? +REP to anyone who knows.

Yes they email you, it takes about 5-7 days.

its does take about a week or two and if ur account got a credit card they would most likely spend it so they have to cancel those payments as well but they do email u

i got scammed..it took me 2 weeks cause the guy was 1337.

No i called them in time and he didnt buy anything. but its been a week and they havnt done anything. The guy changed the email assoiciated with the account. I gave them my email to reach me with on the phone, but will they just email him? or me?
