Would my xbox get the RROD if i put duct tape on it or is that a stupid idea because im bored and my xbox is boring

It wouldnt matter if you put it on the white/black plastic covering the insides/metal part. But it could cause overheating and it would give you 2 red lights after awhile. May i ask whhy you are putting duct tape on your xbox? it wont make it prettier, i suggest spray painting it if you are bored, make sure u take the plastic casing off though.
