Hey well, ive been trying to trade over wifi with my mate for a long time now and i keep getting a cummunication error code? ive beat the elite four yet still nothing.
Could somebody please shine a light on this?

I have been having the same problem with heart gold but yet a couple of my mates can do it fine. I think its just getting the hang of it basically.

Communication error?

Is there other appliances using your wi-fi? Turn them off until the trade is done.

Is the signal strong enough? Try get all green bars.

well i have got full wifi signal, and i turned my xbox and pc off yet still the same resault.

I read on another forum, it may have something to do with your battery power, try doing it on charge.

Second, i think you must register your friend, then he can't have Pokemon from Joto or something like that.

Try lowering your firewall/NAT settings?

I think you can go to your router configuration page, try..

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Then go to Firewall, and select low.

No idea if that will work, just a hunch.
