People want to cure cancer like other things get cured. They are not going to just sit and ignore it, watch people die. Your right it may be there own fault but what about baby's that are born with cancer? What about teenagers that develop cancer and have to struggle with it and go for life saving operations etc. Your rant is therefore selfish.

i think the most part of "curing cancer" is the abnormal cell division, but for the most part if you smoke, dont put on sun screen, ect. and get cancer, hey its your fault.

This is True, But Money Should be Spent On Preventative Care, but remember, Not everything can be Prevented 100%. So thats why a cure/vaccine should always be present.
But a Cure Might make People be lazy, they will be like," Eh Ill do whatever I want, they Have a cure so what does it matter..." We all know someone who is like this haha

Some cancer is genetic... One could even make the argument that all cancer is genetic.
The thing that bothers me is when people with a genetic cancer they know they have and then they have kids and their kids get it too. Why would you do that? That's just making the issue worse.

kirby145 wrote Some cancer is genetic... One could even make the argument that all cancer is genetic. The same thing can apply to STDs, More specifically AIDS and HIV. Its sad but you cant force people to not breed, they still have rights to do so, despite what it may mean for the offspring
