Apologies everyone but after actually getting some responses from others from messaging, on the post and doing some more looking on my own. It has been deemed that the code is for an in game weapon that was used as a pre-order bonus is some retailers and not an avatar prop as initially thought of. Though the steps ae still correct, i edited the title to remove anything related to avatar in it. Sorry

When Metro 2033 came out, when you registered the game onto your THQ.com account, they sent you a code to get the Dark One Mask for your avatar. Now they are at it again with Homefront but with a little twist: you can only get the code if you register the game on the German Side of THQ.

Here is what i did basically:

1. Go to THQ.com and create an account. All you need is a username, real email address for verification and a password. Verify and congrats you have created an Account.

2. From there go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] There should be 2 boxes, the first one is to select the game system which ou will select as Xbox 360. The second box will be the selected games which you will go and select Homefront. Afterwards press Absenden which is on the bottom right of the screen.

This will then bring up Homefront being verified and a game code appearing on the right side of the screen for your Express 870 Shotgun.

Edit #2: Thanks to CasperChaosxvi for noting that PS3 Users can also use this method and get the code for when PSN is back online. Just remember to save the code in a location that you will remember for when that said time comes.
