Yea, mine does it too but it is because i have some .XEX's on the root of my memory stick, so i put them in a folder and it worked just fine
It is because the console will try to load up the .XEX on start so yea.... move it into a folder or something like that and it will work A OK!

mine does the same thing, so i just start up my jtag and when it loads up, then i put the usb in..

e71 is from a storage device so if your the people that think its not gtfo you dont know what your talking about it means theres something with the usb and the xbox cant run it anymore it may still work on the computer it may not but it IS BECASUSE IF THE USB OR STORAGE DEVICE!
