This is a common problem, when you finished creating the email address it coems up saying congratualtions for signing up, most people including me close the page at that point, but once you get to that page you have to click continue sign into the mail section and open your mail box before you cna actually receive any emails other than what windows live messenger team send you, if he has only just recently created the email account he used to sign up to TTG this may be the problem.

If this is the problem, just create a new hotmail account.
If this isn't the problem then contact one of the site admins and ask them to re-send.
