Are you sure that your replacing the correct patch_mp.ff?

I'm pretty sure although my screen looks slightly different because of the map packs. As I said I did get COD4 to work so I must be putting them in the right place. Do you know if they are supposed to work in splitscreen?

I overwrote the patch in Hdd0>game>BLUS300377>USRDIR>Patch_mp.ff and nothing ever happens. I deleted it and I can still play spilt screen. Anyone know where the actual patch might be.

Go to my stickied post and look at the section that has how to host MW2 lobbies. Also, I have a download for blackbox in there, use that as it's way easier and better.

I know I'm planning to use BlackBox eventually but the problem i'm having is that the patch i'm overwriting evidently isn't the right one because if I delete it I can still play.

I know I followed the instructions exactly minus the IP address part because i'm just trying to get a splitscreen to be modded and then later go online. It works fine for COD4/COD5.

Do patch_mp.ff affect splitscreen or only onlie?

Hey if you updated to 1.12 you cannot use a 1.11 patch but since i think i know what you did ill help you if you delete the title update 1.12 and install the retail 1.11 pkg (nexxtgenupdate has it) you will have a compatable title update then you replace the patch with the one you want ( zombieland 2.2 is a favourite of mine ) but if you dont want to look on nextgenupdate hes the link for title update 1.11 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
