If you bought the 1 month and had auto renewal on then he will be paying 5 for 12 months so he will have to pay 60. Hope i helped.

If you have continued to have xbox live gold membership and have been allowed to play online by microsoft, then the auto renewal is on and it has been taken off his card every month.
Microsoft does not "bill" you for service. Its a pay up front kind of deal. So at the end of every month of membership, it automatically renews and charges your fathers card another month of service so that you can play for the following month.
I hope this helped.

The way to stop microsoft from charging your dad is to phone up or if your lucky a message will pop up saying auto renew and you cancel
