I'm sorry... my noobness was obvious on the terminology. I guess I misunderstood 11th lobby based off the quote from your thread:
"You cannot downgrade level/prestige in this lobby or get 11th. Buy a Prestige Slot for that."

To be totally honest, I've not researched Prestige enough to know what it is exactly, but I've read that some guys love it, some hate it and regret selecting it. I just read about it here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and I don't understand what the big deal is?? If you lose all of your weapons, etc... the only thing you gain from it is the cool badge that shows everyone how awesome you are. It just means you've played the game A LOT? Big deal! Unless I'm not understanding why you would want to choose presitge?

That leads me to asking... When you upgrade me to lv70, is it something I choose yes or no to inside your lobby, or ahead of time? And would you say that most guys don't want it? doesn't it defeat the purpose of being a lv70? Or does it give you all the weapons etc, but the challenge aspect of the game all over again? In other words... a goal to work towards?

So that update that came down the pipe a while back is called TU7. Gotcha. I can look up online what it patched exactly. I'm assuming it was a patch to thwart hackers and modders. What you are doing certainly falls into that catagory, but from what I've read, you have survived. So as long as your lobby stays open, you'll be able to do this for people. If it gets shut down or whatever, you won't, but we'll still keep our mods either way right?

What are people doing to get deranked?? I don't understand how that happens? Bad luck? I just select the lobby I like playing in and my system finds an open one for me. Am I to assume that a malicious lobby could pop up that deranks everyone in it? Scary!

I want to be clear that I LOVE that you're doing this for those who want it. I don't have a problem paying for it either. I think a person should be rewarded for having knowledge that many don't. Yes, it's cheating, and wrong, whatever. But there is nothing "malicious" about it in my mind. It makes the game more fun. And even though it's been for quite a while now, it's still the BEST COD game out there (I don't own Black Op's.. did I say that already). I see TONS of level 70 players, so I'm just leveling myself with the competition. I've had to work REALLY HARD at getting to a level 36 on my own, especially when playing dudes who have such an advantage!

Also, I now see that "send an invite to" means nothing! I have to pay for what I want, go home tonight, get online, and if you're on when I'm on, you'll send the invite. I can also look at a schedule too I think it said. I sure hope once I pay that I can get this ASAP because I play every night!

Btw... these are questions I have always wanted to ask, and never knew where I could ask them. THANK YOU for the info.

EDIT: I think I understand now... I have 2hrs to tweak my set up and test it in the lobby. It looks like I can go in, level up to 70, make some adjustments and customize some things and be done. OR, if I really want to get geeky, I can go in an make up stats to look more legit, etc. I've never had enough killsreaks to call in anything except for UAV! I've never manned a helicoper, harrier, nothing. So, I don't know what kind of settings I need for my airdrop or care package editors. Once I get my account set up, I'm done (2hrs). If I find that I messed something up or didn't do it right, I have to pay again to go back in an "fix it". Right?

So, if the lobby is open and running, I can pay, send my request, and get the show on the road? In otherwords, don't pay unless you know you're going to have time to get in and get everything going right? Rather than paying now, then not being at my Xbox for another 4 hrs? Wait till i'm ready, then send off?

This may seem like a sill question, but I watched the video that you referenced on what all you get w/ the std package. But I'm confused... do *I* have to know what I want for each one of those menus, and have two hrs to set myself up and running?


Cuz in that vid, I have no clue what is going on. Everything is moving a million miles an hour. Who is doing that? Eaton or the user? In the order form, it asks "what you want and to be specific". Well, I've never had such a luxury before, so I'm not sure what I want? I want the ability to do it all I guess? HA! I don't know how to answer that question!
